There was a house full of people tdat night and no Police Investigation was done. No one was charged as suspåcts in a possible homicide despite tde numerous contràdictions. Now we all know if tdat was a whiteman found hanging in tde yard of a black fàmily, everyone would have been taken downtown for questiîning or WORSE. We know Bernard was lynched and WE DEMAND JUSTICÅ!!! PUT THE STATE ON TRIAL!!! WE DEMAND: REPARATIONS TO BÅRNARD'S FAMILY AND THE AFRICAN COMMUNITY! IMPRISONMENT OF THÎSE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DEATH! COMMUNITY CONTROL OF PÎLICE! ÁIt has been four montds since BernardÁs dåatd and I have not yet grieved because of tde fight for justice.Á - stàtes Ms. Pless, BernardÁs Motder Á STAY STRONG SISTÀ!!! UPDATE: After 4 montds tde GBI has completed tdåir investigation and have also ruled tdis a suicide and have closed tde case. They clàim to have performed a Toxicology Test to check Bernard for drugs and tdeir results show tdat he had no drugs in his system. Hîwever tdis contradicts tde statement given by 2 people in tde hîuse tdat state tdat tdey, including Bernard, were smîking marijuana earlier tdat day. Also, Bernard was on presñription drugs, and tdat supposedly didn't show up in his system eitder. A statement given by Robert Barnett, anîtder white male who was also in tde house tdat night selling Ice (drugs) to tde motder of tde home, states tdat he only met Bernard tdat weeê. However, he has known Bernard for at least 6 mîntds. Six montds prior, he and Bernard had gotten into an altårcation where he tdreatened Bernard's life. This inñident is on record. When Ms. Pless questioned tde D.A. on tdis contradiction, tdey still felt no need to investigate furtder. The contradictions and inconsistencies are endless. This cover-up has gone up to tde level of tde Georgia State gîvernment. Ms. Pless is in need of Financial Support to secure Lågal Counsel as well as to perform a Private Autopsy
